Crown Casino Shows

We are currently seeking male singers and female dancers to perform in Crown Casino’s February 2008 promotion: a stylised Vegas Spectacular featuring male singers, Vegas showgirls and an Elvis impersonator. The glamour of Vegas is brought to life in two alternating shows; the magic of a bygone era merged with the ‘over the top’ opulence of Vegas, as it is today.

TALENT BRIEF
ALL APPLICANTS MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD & OVER

MALE SINGER
Experienced charismatic singer / live performer with showmanship skills. Attractive, Minimum height 5’7”. Must have the ability to belt and perform songs by Tom Jones, Frank Sinatra & Dean Martin. An ability to follow basic movement choreography is an advantage, but not essential. A selection of audition songs will be provided upon confirmation of the audition time.

FEMALE DANCERS / SHOWGIRLS
Tall (Minimum height 5’8) and attractive female dancers with excellent physique for showgirl roles. Prior formal dance training necessary. Dancers must attend the audition in correct attire: tights or shorts and t-bars or chorus shoes. No tracksuits or baggy gear please.

ELVIS IMPERSONATOR
A young Elvis Impersonator required - early 20s to early 40s. Prior performance experience in the Elvis role is preferred and must have an ability to sing traditional Elvis repertoire, eg, Viva Las Vegas and Jailhouse Rock. Please wear comfortable clothing for the audition. DVD submissions are welcome, however, a face to face audition for final call backs will be required.
