AUDITION FOR SUM OF US

The Old Mill Theatre will audition for the above play on SATURDAY OCTOBER 20th from 2 pm, at the theatre for their first season of 2008.

Production dates: February 1 - 16th 2008

(This play contains adult themes)

Probably most remembered for the 1994 film version starring Jack Thompson as Dad and a youg Russell Crowe as Jeff!

Directors - Award winning Danni Ashton and Co-director Phil Barnett are looking for four very strong actors for this demanding, but warm-hearted play.

Danni recently was the Director of the winning play at this year's DrmaFest

She didn't. I doubt whether this will change the mind of our anonymous correspondent tho, but I will repeat it - SHE DID NOT PRE-CAST We had a wonderful turn-out of many of the best male actors in Perth for this audition. The decision was extremely difficult to decide about all three of the male roles. We could have cast the play three times over, perhaps we should have decided on a rotating cast.... now there's an idea.....

I must apologise for this misunderstanding...
I did let those know who rang up and enquired about the part of Jeff that it was cast, as soon as Phil and I had agreed he was going to take on the role.
It was also to my understanding...the only people at the auditon were people I had spoken to on the phone and had given them the sections we were running at the audition for Dad and Greg.
