The title of the play should be "A Marriage Proposal"
English translation by Theodore Hoffman.

Cast required as follows:-

STEPAN STEPANOVITCH CHUBUKOV - a landowner, stage age 50-70, pompous but affable.

IVAN VASSILEVITCH LOMOV - healthy, but a hypochondriac; nervous, suspicious, jumpy. Also a landowner. Stage age35 ish

NATALIA STEPANOVNA - Chubukov's daughter; stage age 25 (18-35); unmarried
