Upstart Theatre Company is proud to announce the offical audition notice for its 2009 'Shakespeare on the Lake' season- Othello, The Moor of Venice.

Upstart is looking for expressions of interest from vibrant and enthusiastic performers from all fields to audition. The show will be an extravaganza of drama, action, and suspence, plus a highly visual affair involving live music and dance.

We would like auditionees to prepare:

A monologue from any of Shakespeare's works up to 2 minutes in length. Please also be prepared for some lght movement and vocal work. Singers and dancers are very welcome.

The auditions will be held at the 1st Salter Point Sea Scout hall at the end of Elderfield Rd in Manning.

Production dates are: 20, 22, 27 and 28 November 2009.
