Play takes place in the dining room of the Birlings’ House, Brumley, England.
Set in 1912
Characters speak with an upper crust English accent – apart from Arthur Birling whose speech is slightly coarser and more Northern.
Play looks at society in Georgian England – the impact of class, class responsibility, tragedy and social conscience.
