Manly Musical Society is now auditioning for it's next production!
Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat: 1993 UK Tour Version

Auditions will be held on Tuesday 2nd & Friday 5th of February.

FYI the auditions will be run as set out below. Men will audition Tuesday, Females on Friday.

Tuesday 2nd 7pm-11pm - Solo Auditions for Lead Roles:
Joseph, Pharoah, Jacob, Reuben, Simeon, Judah & Narrators
Please email manlymusicalsociety@gmail.com to book an audition time.
Most of these people will also be required at the ensemble audition on Friday, as this will allow us to see you singing and dancing with other cast.

Friday 5th 7pm-11pm - Call Backs and Ensemble Auditions.
All of the Brothers and auditionees called back from Solo Auditions.
This will be a workshop rehearsal of a Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat song. You will learn the song, the movement, the emotion and the dance.

Please note, there will be no childrens chorus. We are happy to take under 18s pending discussions with them.

It's possible there's a bug in the code and it appears under the VIC listings. Either that, or yes, the commenter is oblivious to the national use of this site.

EDITED TO NOTE:

The auditions page (http://www.theatre.asn.au/auditions) doesn't list anything in order of state. Additionally, if people don't bother selecting a state, it gets dumped into the 'Australia' category instead of the relevant state category.

I really wish that people would stop just using the default 'Australia' location when posting auditions and events. It is great that there is the functionality to just be able to see auditions and productions that are located in my own State and that is negated when that becomes flooded with ads for other States.

Yes, it's a national site, but I very much doubt there are many who are going to travel interstate for a community theatre audition or production. And if I am willing to, then I have the option of having a look at the State/s I am interested in.

But it's a pain in the butt when the filtered view option is removed because people are not placing their ads correctly. I have noticed there are increasingly more and more ads for auditions in particular where State has not being specified. It's really irritating to open up post after post in the WA auditions section to find that they are in fact not taking place in WA.
