Details:

A new musical "lovingly ripped off" from the motion
picture Monty Python and the Holy Grail - from the original screenplay by Graham Chapman, John Cleese, Terry Gilliam, Eric Idle, Terry Jones, Michael Palin

AUDITIONS: SUNDAY APRIL 11TH 2010 - Other times may be added

SHOW SEASON: 5th November - 27th November 2010 (14 shows)

REHEARSALS: Commence August.

REQUIRED: 14 men, 8 women, 1 Round Table, 1 Holy Grail, 7 Knights of Ni, 1 Killer Rabbit

We are looking for a cast of approx 22 performers with the quadruple threat - Singer, Actor, Dancer and lover of fun. You must be at least 15 years of age by the time of the performance.

Auditions BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. Will consist of a group dance audition followed by individual singing and acting auditions. There will be ladies and gentlemen's sessions.

A few men have asked if there are roles for non dancers.

The answer is yes - as long as you can walk on the beat and sing in a group.

I'm a 15 year old boy so I have study and sporting commitments to stick to as well. Before I decide whether I want to audition or not, would you be able to tell me what kind of time recquirements would be necessary IF I was to be one of the lucky ones to be chosen? (emphasis on the if)

Rehearsals proper will begin in August.

It depends on the role, but you would be required between one and three evenings a week.

Towards the end, everyone is required three nights a week.

If you have made a last second decsion to audition for SPAMALOT, just make your way to Hackett Hall, Floreat and we will squeeze you in.

(You may have to wait a bit.)

We will be there 9am -6pm Sat and 8am to around 11pm Sun.
