Set during the last years of New York City's celebrated High School for the Performing Arts on 46th Street (1980-1984), "Fame-The Musical" is bittersweet but ultimately inspiring story of a diverse group of students as they commit to four years of gruelling artistic and academic work. With candour, humour and insight, the show explores the issues that confront many young people today: issues of prejudice, identity, self-worth, l...iteracy, sexuality, substance abuse and perseverance.
Auditions will be held at the Mandurah Senior Campus on the 26th June from 8am. Please note there are different times for each audition: -
Dance auditions - including Carmen Diaz, Iris Kelly, Tyone Jackson, chorus and principal dancers: - 8am
Instrumentalist auditions: - 11:30am
Acting/Singing auditions: - 1pm (this will include the call backs for Carmen, Iris and Tyrone from the dance auditions, the acting students and the teachers)
