Mississippi Minstrels will be a toe-tapping and humourous night with music from the Deep South and comedy sketches, presented for a three show season in mid March at the Pinjarra Civic Centre.
Auditions will be held on Monday 9th of Jan at 7pm in the Pinjarra Civic Centre for a Master of Ceremonies, Female and mail soloists, and skits.
Female soloists need to prepare a verse anc horus from either "Summertime", Beautiful Dreamer" or "Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen". Male soloists need to prepare a verse and chorus from either "Mammy" "Shenandoah" or "It Ain't Necessarily So".

After getting a divorce from C.K. Dexter Haven, Tracy Lord prepares to marry again… however, in the days before her wedding, Haven and a reporter, posing as her brother’s friend, show up at her doorstep. From there, Tracy is forced to choose among her past love, her present love and her new love. Amidst the situation comedy, and fast-paced dialogue, Barry explores several contemporary social issues, such as society’s perception of class differences in America and attitudes towards adultery and divorce in the 1930’s.
