Looking for experienced actors for a short student film being shot late September/ early October.
The film is a highly emotional drama about family estrangement, and domestic violence.
Premise: We can change the way we live by accepting we can't change the past.
The lead character Mike is a 26yo enemployed male. Mike leaves home at the age of 16 to escape the abuse of his acoholic father. He has been estranges from his family for 8 years, he occasionally speaks to his mother but has not spoken to or seen his younger brother since leaving home. Mike has become an abusive alchoholic like he's father, he must face his past and attempt to change his future.
Roles are:
Mike (lead) 24-26
Sandra (Mike's mother) 30-40
Dough (Mike's father) 30-40
Lisa (Mike's girlfriend) 20-26
Actors will need to travel to Frankston/Mornington Pennisula area for filming. This is a no pay project, but actors are free to use the film in their CV.

After getting a divorce from C.K.
