Perhaps Jenny McCann could stand in for her - I heard she was as good (if not better)?

When Marlon Brando was in a theatrical version of "Streetcar", he once entered mid-performance, sporting a bloody nose after sparring with his understudy, Jack Palance. He continued the scene, pegging his nose with his fingers.

I;m glad she is alright & wasn't Blanche'd out too much from a lack of claret, when Cate Cop'd it on the Cruette.

It would make for a good plot in an 'MM' play - "Radio kills the video star"

I bet that was not in the STC production Risk Safety Assesment?

METAMORPHOSES

Mary Zimmerman

Leah Mercer

Set in and around a pool of water, Metamorphoses is Mary Zimmerman’s retelling of Ovid’s ancient tales of transformation based on myths from Ancient Greece and Rome, with a little Jung, Rilke and Joseph Campbell thrown in for good measure. Retold in contemporary language and a highly visual and physical style, Metamorphoses uses more than twenty-six characters to tell eleven tales, including some well-known ones like Midas and Orpheus. A highly theatrical night of storytelling the heart of Metamorphoses is the transformative capacity of love and imagination and in what Time Magazine called “a glimpse of the divine.”
