Finley's After Party

jmuzz | 14/01/2009 - 10:30

Just a general note to those in Perth theatre who know me (or Melissa or Danielle Ashton or Martin Lindsay or the Warners or Alan Morris or Wazza and Gazza...oh hell, anyone).
Following the Finleys on Saturday night there will be an after party for those who wish to kick on at my abode.
I'm located just south of the river about 6km out of Perth CBD so it's a fairly central spot.
For details of how to get there, etc, simply drop me an email at jmuzz@iinet.net.au
All are welcome (unless the numbers get too many). It'll be BYO pretty much everything - just a venue for those who want to celebrate or commiserate after the show itself.
The venue reserves the right to deny access to anyone named Walter.

I'll bet you are the "Walter" that wanted strippers at The Finley's aren't you.

Admiration of the human form is all very well, but, seriously.... if you had seen some of these people during rapid costume changes in the wings, you would realise just how redundant your question was....YES CLOTHES ARE NECESSARY!!

(No offence guys!)

Well, Nudie Boy, you can come naked, and the rest of us can point and laugh!

That's very nice of you Muzz! Thanks for the invitation . . . not far for me to stagger home, either! With Graeme moving into my place just around the corner from yours, we could have a nice little theatre 'community' going here in Carlisle . . . er, sorry, Lathlain.

I can see the afterpartys separating into the young 'uns and the.....ahem, not so young 'uns. The music at my place will have actual lyrics, probably at least one guitar in most songs, and not a turntable or pair of headphones in sight.
It's unlikely there will be much red bull and vodka or frenetic movement of the dancing type.
Then again, we may surprise.
Sounds like everyone will have a night to enjoy available to them.

Well, the turntable population at my place has just doubled with my new house mate moving in and there are lots and lots (many hundreds in fact) of RECORDS . . . you know, those big, black CD things. Alas, Mr Stinger still has my headphones and I must remember to ask for them back one of these days.

Hmm . . . might have to throw a 1960s party some time!
