ROBIN HOOD .....the Truth behind the Green Tights

To be Directed by Ailsa Travers

There will be a reading of the script on Tuesday 31st August at 7.30 pm. All those interested in participating in this production are very welcome.

Auditions will be held on Sunday 5th September @ 1pm.

Season dates are DECEMBER 3, 4, 5 matinee, 9, 10, 11, 12 matinee, 16, 17 & 18.

Ailsa requires enough actors to cover a minimum of 11 roles, up to a maximum of 26
characters

Albert - a Saxon Male Lead
Sheriff of Nottingham Male, major role
Guy of Gisbourne Male, major role
Robin Hood Male or female, major role
Maid Marian Female, major role
Tree Male or Female, major part
Will Scargill Male of Female
Wife of Albert Female
Walter of Weybridge Male
Derek Male
Prince John Male

Everyone except Albert will have other small roles.

STAGE MANAGER & SOUND AND LIGHT OPERATORS REQUIRED.

If history is told by the victors, the story of war is usually told by the blokes. Now it's the ‘sheilas' turn. Nearly 1000 Australian women had a part in the Vietnam War as entertainers, journalists, volunteers and nurses. The one thing they have in common is that their lives were changed forever by Vietnam. For many of them it was the most vital and alive they have ever felt. This is their story.
