For the following roles in an exciting, fresh and mind-bending short film called ‘Vulture Culture’, planned to shoot around August/September this year.

Characters needed are:

Syd – early 20's, dictator, control freak, old skool male attitudes, tall - borderline over weight, daily marijuana smoker, junk food lover, standard dress sense, unkempt pasty skin and hair, not studying – possibly working an undisclosed part time job. Despises Colin’s new age belief system and Matt’s apparent marijuana abuse.

Colin – early 20's, new age type, Student – subject undisclosed, consumes health foods to control bowel issues aswell as belief system, average height and weight. Pacifist type, fast speech pattern/occasional stutterer, social marijuana smoker, metro sexual dress sense, slowly rebelling against Syd.

Mathew Baker – early 20's, weak/awkward type, follows the crowd, does not stand up for himself, substance abuse issues, consumes secret substance “Astromorphin” to control his mood and insecure relationships with associates/outside world. Possibly an English immigrant who has grown up in Australia. Dress sense – wears a “hoody” jumper. Studying part time but generally failing. Holding a part time job such as a Pizza deliver or something along those lines.

Vagrant – 20 something, homeless type, dirty skin, messy hair, scraggy clothing and harsh accent/speech pattern. Loitering at the service station for a short amount of time. He is seeking money for a lift home and possibly something to eat. Symbolic of what the character of Matt could become. He also occupies an antagonist role for the character of Matt, in terms of being this ugly character out to get him.

The Attendant – 30 something, former druggie type, appearance open to biker type or stoner look, average height and build, uniformed with short sleeves, amputated left arm from elbow down – cause only speculated as diabetes, drug use or war. Easy going type that can identify with late night stoners. From Matt’s P.O.V. he is an enemy that is watching him through the security vision. Matt interprets him to be a current user of “Astromorphin” as well as a general interrogative force.
