With all this ambiguity floating around, it sounds like...

...Porn!

This isn't porn is it? I mean if it is than it has no place on this website.

..."Low budget" and "independent" film...about a 'Ruby Rose'-like character whom does what, exactly?

...Ropes-in Trish into one last fling with her with the assistance of her faithfull Matt, who ends-up holding the camera. Which in an unknown 'girls own pictures' is all he can be left doing.
Also; "E" is the common name given to the dangerous party drug, 'Ecstasy'. A suitable name for the title-character in a suitable picture, then.

Sounds warn and shabby, to me. I hope you can set me straight, Louise.

No, I won't be auditioning. I hope others here will retard their enthusiasm until we learn more.

Cheers,
Daniel M.

Words of support.

Mel,

Well guess what? Since I did in fact say what struck me first upon reading this post - they haven't come back to tell us all different.

That strikes me as evidence that some of what I observed may have an element of truth. I'm glad I did tell 'em. I think even Jeff will be glad I "shit-stirred" - as he likes to describe it.

I mean, if I put up a post that someone took wrongly, I would be the first to point out the inaccuracy and failure of their conclusion, in order to correct them.

Several days on and they haven't done so. They haven't made a correction or offered a notice to the contrary.

Thanks for your support.

Cheers,
Daniel M.

I mean, in no way do I want to get on the wrong side of you and your impressive tiger.

My observation has some validity, you would agree, I hope.

While your point has been made in a somewhat blunt and (IMHO) too graphic manner, the validity of it is none-the-less relevant.

Obviously from an actor's point of view, they should be very cautious about any project they get themselves involved ranging from "What is the genre" to "Where do I stand."

From a Director's or Producer's POV, they would be better served in being as upfront as they possibly can. Sadly, this is rather difficult when so many are out their making a bad name for the honest ones. However, the more upfront a producer is, the more likely (note there is still risk when dealling with con-men) that the deal is legit.

Upon reading the main posting, I myself did not suspect any iffyness about it. Apart from the Lesbian reference, I don't see much reason to suspect Porn as such. However, caution is always advisable and in that, Dan has a point.

What a surprise you are to me, Jeffrey.

I accept your point entirely, and accept it in the way you made it.

I would only add one thing more, and do so only because you have given me the opportunity:

'When the protector's imagination fails than bad things are allowed to happen.' DM.

I don't see myself as a protector necessarily, but I do enjoy using my imagination. As a writer, I feel I am given that unalienable right for the benefit of all.

Thanks for allowing me to use it in this instance, all.

I mean, the author could have in this instance chosen to use the word Romance instead of "love story". And therefore Romance/Thriller, instead of the other. Connotation would be different, I'm sure some of you might agree.

In any event, we wait to be educated by the author/producer on the true intention of her project. Louise, please re-enter the forum.

Cheers,
Daniel M.

Thought you knew Grimm’s fairy tales? Think again.
Once upon a time…
Hidden in the crevices, drawn from the gutters and alleyways of life, comes a startling retelling of classic fairy tales.
This deliciously wicked and dangerously funny one-woman show stars Helpmann Award winning actor and singer Ursula Yovich (Australia, Jindabyne, Waltzing The Wilarra) playing a cast of bit characters from the stories of Rapunzel, Red Riding Hood, Cinderella and more.
From one of Australia’s most original contemporary playwrights, Vanessa Bates (Checklist for an Armed Robber), this is a black comedy with songs – a night of stories told by twilight (the original kind) with werewolves and with magic…
