melbourne dance schools

My daughter has been going to John Cleary Dance school in Perth for 5 years. The standard is excellent and the costumes and concerts always stunning. She also does exams, competitions ect. We are moving to Keysborough in Melbourne next year and I am desperate to find a top quality dance school around that area. Most seem to be right over the other side of Melbourne or very inner city. My daughter does jazz tap ballet acro drama and singing. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Yes you are the other side of Melb for all the top dance schools. By this I mean the competitive ones that do local competitions and enter the Royal South Street in Ballarat.

I would say the one closest to you, I think would be Rebecca Anderson Dancers at Somerville, maybe give them a ring to see what they offer.

I think these are probably the best competitive schools in Vic but I dont know what exam work they offer

Isolations Performing Arts, Tullamarine
Bev Palmer Dancers, South Morang
Barbara Lynch Dancers, Brunwick
Michele Slater Performing Arts, Oak Park

Royal South Street is supposed to be 'the' national dance eisteddfodd with top dance schools across the nation competing, John Cleary Dance School competed and did extremely well there and shocked a few Vic schools from what I have read on this site.

Check out the dance results here from 14th Sept to 1st Oct. Troupe placings are towards the end of each page.
