Next Finley Adjudicator Course Sept 27th at DramaFest

alanm | 29/07/2008 - 15:26

After a highly successful course at the Garrick Theatre in June (we had 10 people attend) the ITA will be holding another Finley Adjudicator course at the Old Mill Theatre, Mends St, South Perth during DramaFest. Saturday 27th September 2008.
It's your chance to find out how the Finley Adjudication system works, how shows are marked, what to look for and how to make sense of what you see. You'll then get to see a couple of shows, after which you'll go home to write up your marks and a review of the shows you saw. A week later you'll meet up to discuss what each of you thought, judging by last time there will not be many surprises, so many people came up with the same comments or observations. Surprisingly those people with little theatre experience ended up with very similar points and marks to those who been involved in theatre for many years.
Remember you don't need to have experience to do the course, you need enthusiasm and a commitment to serving your fellow members of Community Theatre.
Step up and take the challenge email ita.adjudicator@gmail.com or contact one of the ITA's committee if you'd like to know more.
