Auditions are continuing this Thursday, 21 June for Ashfield Musical Society's October production of the classic MGM musical "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers".

There are several fantastic roles for young performers in this production - namely the seven Pontipee brothers and their chosen brides:

Adam Pontipee: Oldest brother and head of the Pontipee family. A bull-headed, rugged country man.
Milly: Adam's spunky and independent bride. A sassy but loving country girl.
Benjamin: The 2nd oldest brother.
Caleb: The 3rd oldest brother.
Daniel: The 4th oldest brother.
Ephraim: The 5th oldest brother.
Frank: The 6th oldest brother.
Gideon: Youngest of the Pontipee clan. Earnest and naive.
The Brides: Various looks and personalities. Alice (the youngest), Dorcas, Ruth, Liza, Martha, Sarah.
Rival Suitors: Carl, Jeb, Joel, Luke, Matthew, Zeke.

There is also an ensemble cast of lumbermen and townsfolk, including several cameo roles.
