The Karaoke Christmas Twist Special continues at Phoenix Theatre this week with performances on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and a Sunday matinee.

Presented by A lad in sane productions and written and directed by John Grimshaw, The Karaoke Twist Christmas Special is a traditional but modern take on boy-meets-girl romances. You can read about all the fun, fun, fun of the show here:

Corks are popping as we enter the home stretch with this unashamedly saucy chrissy celebratory piece of theatre. If Dickens were alive today, he would probably be wishing he'd written it before Johnny Grim and that G-strings had been invented in Victorian times.

Away from Phoenix`Theatre, Mario Piccoli's superb light show, coupled with Rob Roy's pulsating sound design would be flaying them in the Freo and Northbridge nightclubs at $5000 a night minimum!

Don't be put off by the idea that 'Karaoke' means audience participation - the idea here is to come and watch a bunch of (very good) actors make idiots of themselves - a bit like 'improv' really Eye-wink
