Cariad Productions is an artist’s collective, working as a platform to promote actors along with new writing for Film, TV and Stage.

Our process revolves around work-shopping selected scenes with professional actors and performing them in a monthly showcase ‘STOLEN MOMENTS’.

We have recently acquired a studio on Brunswick Street and converted it into a performance space. It has been a lot of hard work but finally we are able to utilise this space for any projects we wish.

Along with ‘STOLEN MOMENTS’ we have introduced a New Material Comedy night ‘CRASHMAT’. The evening provides professional comedians the opportunity to try out new material with the option of crashing back on old material.

August saw our second month of ‘CRASHMAT’, which has already been branded “Melbourne’s best New Comedy night”. We’ve had to make CRASHMAT a fortnightly event to accommodate both the volume of comedians wishing to be involved and the ever increasing following.
