Jenny, Eliot and Davis are pleased and relieved to welcome ISAAC JONAS MCCANN into the family today, Friday 4th May, 2007. He clocks in at 3655g (which I believe is about eight pounds) and is devastatingly cute. But I am biased.

Before continuing on with the pressing business of this particular blog, let me first say this. It is somewhat astonishing to behold (and a bugger to comprehend) the site of a director directing an actor in how to direct the actors playing mental patients pretending to be actors. No need for panic or alarm (or a lama, either). This is not a Road To Damascus moment, but a frank report of Tuesday’s rehearsal- during which I met the mystical being known as Josh (and from now on referred to as God). The reasoning behind the reverential reference is that is how we are all encouraged to view the noble position of Stage Manager.
It had to happen. Something had to go pear-shaped. ‘Tis the nature of things. I personally blame Scott Sheridan for blithering on about The Scottish Play …and for this we will have his oily hide…
