The Liberal-National Government is providing nearly $1.5million for upgrading arts organisations’ facilities.
Culture and the Arts Minister John Day said the funding would provide infrastructure which enhanced public engagement, increased the quality of audience experience and improved access to arts and cultural activities.

The Arts Capital Fund, which is a one-off funding program, has already provided $420,000 this financial year to the independent, community-run theatre sector. Eighteen independent theatre groups received funding for new facilities, improvements, marketing and production.
