FRIDAY, MAY 25, 7PM AND 9PM - PERTH INTERNATIONAL BURLESQUE FESTIVAL
The Dark of the Cabaret is a night filled with international, interstate and local artists in a Neo-Burlesque feast, celebrating the weird, whacky, wild and generally outrageous in Burlesque.
Performers will include Tasia, Miss La Vida, Mrs Rose, Miss Nic, Betty Blood, Becky Lou, Jessabella, Venus Vamp, Black Betty, Brenna Day, Twisted Vaudeville Circus and Sugar Blue Burlesque.
Venue: The Bakery, 233 James Street, Northbridge (Entry at the back from Roe St, next to Metro City).
Cost: $38 (BF included); $40 at the door if available. Ticket allows access to the late-night party at The Bakery.
The Festival Party carries on after the feast at The Bakery.
From 9pm, patrons can chill out in the outdoor lounge area until 11pm when doors open to feature the Rusty Pinto Combo.
Drawing influence from 40s and 50s 'cat music', the Combo is quickly making a name for itself as a must-see live act. Other performers include Performers include Missy Fatale, Billie Rae, Miss Gailforce, Michelle Smith, The Wicked Lady Olivia, SheShe Velour, Ginger Leah Rye, Peachey Dream, Radha Leigh and Beehives Go-Go.
