Competition now on!

Na | 11/08/2009 - 15:55

If anyone is interested, I'm now running a competition with more than $150 (US!) in prizes!

All you have to do is build a puppet (using the Round Head Foam Puppet pattern), submit a video of your work, and you're in the running!

You can win some great puppet building/performance merchandise, including fleece, practice eyes, a copy of The Foam Book (an industry-standard book for making muppet-type puppets), copies of a foam puppet pattern, and much more; some of these prizes are pictured at right. This is for both makers and performers, so prizes will be awarded on both areas. So you don't have to be the best builder or performer in the world, you just have to give it a shot!

Entries close on 30th October 2009. (Please read the rules before submitting!)

After getting a divorce from C.K. Dexter Haven, Tracy Lord prepares to marry again… however, in the days before her wedding, Haven and a reporter, posing as her brother’s friend, show up at her doorstep. From there, Tracy is forced to choose among her past love, her present love and her new love. Amidst the situation comedy, and fast-paced dialogue, Barry explores several contemporary social issues, such as society’s perception of class differences in America and attitudes towards adultery and divorce in the 1930’s.
