Interview with a master puppeteer

I doubt anyone here is interested, but just in case...

Yesterday I had the opportunity to have an exclusive interview with world-renown puppeteer, Ronnie Burkett. He is currently performing his latest show in Melbourne, Billy Twinkle (he's been in Geelong, and he will be going to Sydney next). I have some shots of his puppets and the set, as well as insights into his work and the show. One of the pictures is shown at right.

You can listen to the interview here:

(More info about tour dates etc is also at my site)

Please don't ask me about reviews of the show: I will be seeing it next week and am purposefully avoiding reading reviews about it so I am not influenced by outside ideas. However, I have seen his work many times before and would HIGHLY recommend it - although not for children. (Trust me, this isn't like Avenue Q, which is simply racy puppetry. This is theatre for adults, which uses puppets for the performers)

Actually I am interested as recently I have been working with Lachlan Haig an Adelaide based puppeteer. You may remember I asked you for some tips on lighting. There are some photo's of my efforts on my website if you are interested. On the Lighting page

Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing.
