Puppets in Melbourne is presenting two workshops for early 2009 - a building workshop, where you'll learn all about making muppet-type puppets (from scratch or using a pattern, with heaps of goodies to help you make more at home) AND/OR a performance workshop where you get to learn how to operate these types of puppets (perfect for those of you who want to get hands on experience doing lip synching, learning basic manipulation, etc).
