ASPIRING TEEN ACTORS GET THE OPPORTUNITY TO LEARN FROM ACTOR EXTRAORDINAIRE MARCUS GRAHAM.

Screenwise Australia | 02/12/2009 - 08:26

Screenwise will be presenting an exclusive Marcus Graham School Holiday workshop for teens in January 2010.

Teenagers aged between 12 - 17 years old who want to make a serious move in to the Film & TV industry will learn skills that cover the tools required for acting on Screen over 4 days from the 18th January 2010 at the Screenwise Surry Hills Studios with actor Marcus Graham. Marcus knows only too well the difficulty a young actor faces in finding the truth and intensity required within the confines of film & television. In this school holiday workshop students will explore truth, intensity, imagination and ultimately the freedom of expression within the confines of working on screen.

Placements for this course are limited to keep class sizes at an enjoyable level for all participants.

Marcus Graham is one of Australia's hottest Film & Theatre actors and shot to fame in E Street playing 'Wheels' and from there he went on to star in theatre and film - and then to the U.S. where he had his own TV Cop show. Recently he played "Lewis Caine'' in Underbelly and on stage with Bell Shakepeares 'Pericles' and currently starred with Sacha Horler in Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage for the Sydney Theatre Company.

Screenwise student photos are kept on file and presented to Casting Consultants for consideration whenever there is a Film or TV series being cast, many SCREENTEENS have auditioned and appeared in some of Australia's leading film and TV series such as Home and Away, All Saints, The December Boys, H2O and Blue Water High. Thanks to referrals from Screenwise, many of the students are now represented by some of Sydney's top Acting Agencies.
