Elmo's World Tour

Come along with Elmo and the Sesame Street gang as they circle the globe in this all-singing, all-dancing stage show touring Australia in 2012. Abby Cadabby, Big Bird, Grover, Zoe, Cookie Monster and Elmo use the letters of the alphabet to navigate a voyage through imagination that sees the gang visiting China, Zambia, France, India and Australia! Elmo and his friends have fun learning how people sing and dance and say hello in different places, but things don’t go to plan when Cookie Monster eats a letter of the alphabet. Can Abby Cadabby find the right spell to help? Along the way, audiences will also delight in hearing a sensational tale from The Count and will help some backpacking rubber-duckies find a place to stay with Bert and Ernie. Someone mapped the JCS page to the "Whats on" FAQ page and now people think that that is where you post "Whats on."

As Jeff says, it's because it's linked to the FAQ page "what's on". I don't see a way I can remove the thread from the FAQ either...

It's my Party (and I'll die if I want to)
Author: Richmond Players
Date: 13/04/2012 - 11:19

Richmond Players are having a party and you are invited to
Elizabeth Coleman’s “It’s My Party (and I’ll die if I want to)”.

In the opening season of what is 60 years of Richmond Players, audiences will be taken to the Patterson’s living room in Elizabeth Coleman’s “It’s My Party (and I’ll die if I want to)”.

After directing last year’s hilarious “Cash on Delivery”, Castlereagh’s Phil Donney returns to direct this "thigh-slapping" black comedy which gives the word "family" a whole new perspective and meaning for its audiences.

Ron Patterson (Grose Vales’ Greg Todd) has been given three months to live by his doctor, so he decides to ask his wife Dawn (Grose Vales’ Nadine Hulme) to invite the kids home on the evening of “predicted” death without revealing the actual reason for the family gathering. Almost immediately we are plunged into a humorous night of family squabbles, jealousies and competition where a few home truths are disclosed and episodes lurch between poignant and outrageous. Eldest son Michaels’ (Joel Baltaks of Nth Richmond) surprise confession sparks a prelude to the evening’s direction. Add onto that his single sister Debbie’s (Emma Taite of Penrith) secret, and soon to be married ‘daddy’s little girl’ Karen’s (Zoe Tamaras of Kurrajong) true thoughts on marriage. All before the arrival of Ted (Luke Tuite of Richmond), Ron’s pre booked undertaker.

Every character, situation and scenario is instantly recognizable and the humour is as wicked as Hades.

We would like to invite people to be in our audience for a special Opening Night, Friday 4th May 8 pm and to join the cast and crew for champagne and nibbles after the show.
If you can’t make it, join audiences on Saturday 5th May 730 pm, Saturday 12th May 2pm and 7.30 pm, Saturday 19th May 2pm and 730 pm AT Richmond School of Arts, crn March St and West Market St Richmond. Tickets can be purchased at Oz Pharmacy Richmond or by visiting our website www.richmondplayers.com.au for online bookings. For further information ring Trish on 9671 7249
