If you'd like to see what plays etc (and there's a lot, you can view by author, genre etc) the ITA holds in its script library, send an email to itaperth@gmail.com and we'll invite you to our new Google Docs page.
Just another example of the the ITA is doing in its quest to support Community Theatre.
Please note if you want to borrow a play from this library or arrange a time when you can look through the contents, you'll need to be an ITA member (only costs $25 per year and you'll get many more benefits) or you'll need to be accessing it on behalf of a member club.

Question

Would the ITA be interested in receiving a donation of a number of scripts of SA written plays published locally or in the UK for addition to their library. This is a donation they don't have to pay.

Is that all there is? Well if that's all there is my friend, then let's keep dancing.

I have no jurisdiction over what the ITA do, but it strikes me as plain stupid if we don't take you up on that offer Tony! Hope you hear very soon from someone who can make the decision. Thank you for your generosity.

Hey it's in my interest. I am the writer of some of these plays and the publisher of some of the others. If people over there do them I might see my work reach a wider audience.

Smithy by Maverick Musicals

Simon Denver and Ian Dorricott

Judy Lewis

This is the musical of the school play - a riotous parody of the annual nightmare...Miss Byrde is a fresh out of college drama teacher and Smithy is the school villain. She has had four years training and he has had at least ten - recognise the situation? Every student, teacher and parent will identify with this musical ! ~ Every school has a Smithy but remember, after this Smithy...you may not have a school!
