Voice Over

This course focuses on developing the skills and versatility to be a voice over artist. It is an introductory course which equips students with the tools and requirements to go and record their own voiceover demo CD.

It is a very hands on course which covers all preliminaries including timing, understanding client needs and marketing. We will be working to people's strengths ie finding and developing their natural abilities, and developing those within the voice-over.

Participants will spend 4 nights in the studio - recording a number of produced commercial scripts in a professional recording studio and will receive critiques and tips on their performance.

COURSE DATES:
Saturday 8th of November at Brave
From 10.30am - 5pm
Wednesdays 12th, 19th and 26th November and 3rd of December at GAS studios
From 6.30pm - 9.00pm

Teacher
Course director, Margot Knight has been a professional actor and voiceover artist for the past 25 years. She has voiced 1000's of scripts including commercials, corporate, documentaries and radio plays. She has performed many leading roles theatre, TV and film as well as being a fully qualified drama teacher.
