Kalamunda Dramatic Society (KADS) is pleased to announce that it will be running possible aKADemy of Acting classes taught by experienced professional actor, writer and director Noel O'Neill.
For those who don’t know Noel was born in Ireland and moved to New York where he studied acting with Lee Strasberg and Herbert Berghof. He appeared in many Off Broadway productions such as: Of Mice and Men, One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, Come Back Little Sheba, Alfie and The Hostage. Since arriving in Australia he has kept himself busy with both film and theatre, most recently he wrote/acted in ‘Confetti From Graceland’ which hit KADS stage and The Irish Club last year. Noel continues to write award-winning plays and also lectures at WAAPA.
These new and exciting classes run over eight weeks and are great for both experienced actors, those interested in starting out and people just wanting to try their hand at something new. You should aim to have 1-2 monologues/scenes ready for your first class. This is perfect for developing, refining and practicing your art on stage. If you are interested or just want to see what all the fuss is about we will be running our first classes in the New Year. Please note that these classes are devised for those 19years and older.

The classes will run for 2 hours and is only $250 for eight weeks.
