Ensemble acting for 13-17 year olds

The Western Australian Youth Theatre company holds regular Sunday afternoon courses in ensemble theatre for young people between 11 and 17 years old.

In 2010 there are currently two sessions on a Sunday afternoon. The first session is 3-5pm and is for young people to take part in activities that build confidence, self-esteem and creativity. the second session from 5pm to 7pm is for regular members who wish to extend and improve their devising, performance and theatre skills.

Group activities concentrate upon fun creative training in ensemble performance building skills in expressive movement, breath and voice control.

Garreth Bradshaw B.Ed (Drama Studies, Edith Cowan University) has created a program that allows participants to develop their creative nature, allowing them to develop at their own pace in a warm supportive learning environment that not only challenges them to excel, but also encourages them to reflect upon their learning, themselves and their place within society.
