Course - 'Be The Host With The Most'
This
course is designed to give a mix of the skills and
confidence
required to be an on-camera presenter. The course
focuses on
developing your own personal presenting style. Attention
will
be given to vocal delivery, camera to eye contact and
physical
performance. You will walk away with 3 pieces that have
been
professionally shot by videographerJustin batchelor on
DVD for
you to potentially edit to use as a showreel. You will
also work
with an autocue as well as presenting live to camera.
The course
will cover the following presenting styles:
Lifestyle\Infotainment,
News\Current Affairs, Corporate Video, Commercials.
Suitable
For:
Anyone
interested in learning how to present to the camera for
television
news and lifestyle programs, film, commercial or
corporate presentation.
Utilise this course to tailor make a showreel suited to
your
experience and aspirations which can then be distributed
to the
appropriate media outlets.
Participants in this course have gone on to present on
the following
programs:
Video Hits, Gladiators, WIN TV News, So You Think
You Can
Dance, GMA, Mornings with Kerri-Anne, Sunrise, Coxy's
Big Break,
Postcards and Cyber Shack as well as various TV
commercials,
Corporate work, independently produced programs and
more.

Course
Directors: Luke Waters
is an award winnig senior broadcast journalist with more
than
a decade's experience on the cutting edge of the
Australian media
having anchored news bulletins in regional Australia. He
has
anchored state and National bulletins with network ten
as well
as co-presenting National News Breakfast on ABC 2.
During his
career, Luke has reported on a number of significant
events including
the Black Saturday bushfires and aftermath, federal and
state
elections, riots at the Baxter Immigration detention
centre and
Melbourne's gangland wars.
Luke has worked for years and is also in high demand as a
media
trainer and reporter for Australia's media outlets and
large
corporations.
Video:
Justin Batchelor
has been working in the Film and Television industry
both as
an actor and Videographerfor many years, his credits
include
roles in theatre, televsion and film. His company Batchedit,
specialises in short film production, showreels and
corporate
work.
