Intermediate Screen Acting Course with Nadia Townsend

Intermediate - 8 weeks
This course is designed for those with some on camera training who want
to take their acting to the next level! Focusing on character building
and finding greater access to your emotional and imaginative life; in
particular with any blocks that are stopping you from reaching your
acting potential. This course also covers auditioning techniques and a
screen-test with 2 Divas Casting will be organised for you
at the end of the course. You will walk away with your scenes on tape
so that they can be used as part of your showreel. This course is
designed for those who have had theatre training, small roles on film
and TV or have done other acting for camera classes.

Suitable for:
This course is suitable for anyone who has an interest in acting for
television or film and has already had some training in acting for the
camera technique.

Monday evenings
24th and 31st of October. 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th of November. 5th of December from 6.30pm - 9.30pm
Screentest: Monday 12th of December from 6pm - 9pm

Cost: $525.00 inc. GST (cash and most credit cards accepted)
* Pay only $495.00 if you pay in full upon enrolment at least 1 week prior to course start date

Course Diector:
Nadia Townsend has been working as an actress in Australian film
television and theatre for the past 15 years. Her most recent
television role being, detective Allie Kingston on City Homicide.
Nadia's other television credits include, Fireflies, Headland,
Headstart, SeaPatrol, Chandon Pictures. Her film roles include,
Knowing, Zombie Monologues, Puppy and Danny Deckchair. Nadia began her
career by studying at Atlantic Theatre Company in New York, she came
home to set up her own theatre company and produced, acted and directed a
decade worth of plays. Nadia then went on to study voice with the Roy
Hart school in France and continues her studies to this day with the
worlds best practitioners, such as Larry Moss, Ivana Chubbuck and Kim
Krejus. Nadia is highly dedicated to the craft of acting and passionate
about communicating her understanding of it through teaching.
