Led by impro veteran and WAAPA impro lecturer Glenn Hall, SPONTANEITY is the perfect course for those just starting on their improvisation journey or for those looking to refresh their skills.

SPONTANEITY is an introduction to the philosophies, theory, language, skills and basic building blocks of improvisation, which will be explored through exercises, games and discussion. It’s designed to encourage fearlessness, commitment, creativity, collaboration, and fun.

Teaching focus includes: Trusting your instinct, failing happily, being obvious, inspiring your fellow players, offer and acceptance, saying yes, advance and extend, justifying physical/verbal offers and playing basic scenes.

Note: improvisation experience is not a pre-requisite for this course. Participants must be 18 years or older.
