If you think you’re tough and disciplined enough for Acting School try 5 days of WAYTCo’s Boot Camp for Actors. Professional tutors will challenge, work and inspire you to new levels. Don’t be late! It’s a 9:30am lockout!
TUTORS
Phil Thomson works as an actor, director and writer. Phil has worked onncross-cultural collaborations in Papua New Guinea, India and remote Australia. Acting credits include Yandy, Wantok, Initiation and Prisoner. An award winning writer/director, in 2011 he directed the epic play Jandamarra and will soon be touring Australia in Bindjareb Pinjarra.
Garreth Bradshaw is a trained drama teacher and independent theatre artist. He is the Artistic Director of Upstart Theatre Company - Sleepyhead was a sell-out season at this year’s Fringeworld. Garreth has directed for WAYTCo (The Life of Galileo) and Midnite Youth Theatre Company. Garreth is WAYTCo’s regular acting tutor and specialises in Brecht, Shakespeare and Chekhov
Caitlin Beresford- Ord is one of WA’s most popular and successful theatre artists. A graduate of WAAPA she is an award winning actor who has acted in theatre and TV. She is an accomplished cabaret performer, a Bell Shakespeare Arts Educator and director. She is currently directing Cloudstreet for John Curtin College of the Arts.
