I also went to see Arsenic and Old Lace, on the 12th.

Overall, I thought I was a very enjoyable play. The script, though quite old, still carried all its charm and humour in the present day, and had many memorable funny moments!

The cast was made up of a range of talents, and special note needs to be given to Kerry Goode, David Young and Marie Corrigan, all of who displayed great comic timing in delivering thier lines, accompanied by some great facial expressions:). Michael Balmer also was superb as the 'evil' brother, and came across as being very menacing.

One could not see this play and not comment on the wonderful set, which was breathtaking in all its charm. With such a perfect setting, who would ever have suspected what goes on in there!

The only problems I had with the show, was that Mortimer was a little hard to understand, and was a little stiff on stage.

Well done to the cast and crew and the director, Andrea DeVaack.
