Australia’s highest short film festival is back bigger than ever for it’s 4th year.
Entries for the 2006 festival are NOW OPEN!
Films can be as short as 30 seconds, but must be no longer than 7 minutes.
Your mission is to creatively incorporate the 2006 theme of… “TIME” into your film as a theme, concept, story- line or object.
Any type or style of short film is welcome- Drama, Comedy, Documentary, Animation, Surf, Snow, Adventure etc…
Entries close Friday August 25th, 2006.
Nearly $10,000 of cash & prizes are up for grabs.
Award categories include “Best Film”, “Best snow/ Sport Film”, “Judges Choice”, Best Local Film (Snowy/ Sth East) and in continuing with Flake’s support of young filmmakers there is a “Best Film” award for youth filmmakers Under 21.
Screenings premiere around the NSW Snowy Mountains (Thredbo, Perisher, Jindabyne, Cooma) in mid September 2006.
So, if you’ve ever missed a bus? Been late for work? Lost a big game in the final seconds? Traveled through time, Shared good times, had bad times, not enough time, too much time or anything that involves TIME, make a short film and become apart of Australia’s highest short film festival.
