when im doing a monolouge it helps me to read through the play to get a feel for this character.
i need to know what kind of a person they are i.e when i was doing my monologe of Lady Anne from the play King Richard III i read through the play to understand why the person was feeling like they were and then find somthing im your life that brings out the feelings that are needed to portray this person.
