YES, IT REALLY WAS RAINING IN HOUSE. Oh my god, who would of thought it possible! Well done to you all. Must of been a stressful event. I saw the show on opening night, if my truth is to be told, i did enjoy it , but it seemed like we were at a tech rehearsal. I have been to see the show again and a lot of the pauses and hitches have been fine tuned. As a paying patron, i feel a little disappointed that i took my family and friends on the first night & they did not get to see the professionalism. If we had of attended a different venue, our expectations may have been less.I would of thought such a venue would have had the whole tech thing and band sorted before the show was open to the paying public.
The lead Cathy has a beautiful voice and was a pleasure to listen to. Don, i thought did a good job at acting the part & danced magnificently. Though having to sing with Cathy made his voice sound weak.Cosmo was very entertaining and energetic.I thoroughly enjoyed his performance and could excuse the fact that he sang mediocre. But what he lacked there, he made up for in his role play. Well done,young man. My favourite character was Lina, she delivered and sang fantastically. Loved the dance routines, congratulations to the choreographer & all of the dancers.The director must be pleased!Enough of my waffle, In a nut shell; I hope you all enjoyed your selves recreating this charming production Well done!
