it took so long because heads of various schools like drama and dance don't see Musical theatre as a legitimate artform and have made things very difficult for this course to get off the ground. Congratulations to the school of music (where the course runs from) for finally getting through to those twats at the school who opposed the course. one only feels sorry for the ex students who paid thousands and thousands of dollars in tuition fees for the two year foundation course that dont get a degree at the end of their study because untill now heads of schools felt their passion was not legitimate.
ps. i dont think they ever mentioned the word best. only leading - dont think wappa has all the variety and credibility in all areas of study that vca does.
