Whiplash Theatre's production of this revue (time to coincide with Sondheim's 80th birthday this year) is a treat from beginning to end. Highly recommended for Sondheim fanatics, and more so for those who aren't... for it will make converts of most of you.

The production is slick, and never lags in pace. Musical direction is exquisite and the performances tonight were practically faultless.

Special mentions in a show such as this are unfair, as the five singers proved their mettle with aplomb deftly meeting the varying emotional demands of each number. But both Gillian Binks' rendition of "Send In The Clowns" and Casey Edwards' performance of "Losing My Mind" had both Jen & I in floods of tears. Stunning.

If tonight is any indication, you'd better get your tickets (through BOCS) pretty sharpish; a near-full house that obviously knows a good thing when they see it!
