This very funny play was written by Christopher Fry as a satirical look at McCarthyism in the 1950s. It is a story of a girl unjustly accused of witchcraft and a soldier of fortune who is tired of life. Set in 1400 (or thereabouts!) it is written in beautiful language, yet still very funny. This season is to run from 9-24 July 2010 at Stirling Theatre, Innaloo.

“A poetic fantasy of rare splendour and delight....A work of magical humour and deep beauty.” -- Herald, Tribune.
