A MORNING of traditional and mainstream jazz is on offer for Morning Melodies at Koorliny Arts Centre on February 10.

A trio from Mandurah-based That’s Jazz will spice up the stage with their interactive show, encouraging the audience to engage with the music.

The trio – Harry Horne on bass, Don Slaughter on keyboards and Martin Jones on reeds – are part of an eight-piece band of the same name, which formed nearly eight years for the purpose of starting the Mandurah Jazz Club.

Slaughter and Horne were for many years with The Swan City Jazzmen, while Jones was with The Storyville Jazzband and The Stevedores Jazzband, and combined, the band has nearly 50 years’ experience.

Tickets cost $10.
