Accidental Productions is a new theatre company that aims to foster contemporary works from around the world. These works will explore new forms of theatrical expression that are highly dynamic and reflect the increasing complexity of the global world. Maintaining a relevance to the social, cultural and political world in which we live, Accidental Productions will endeavour to entertain the audience with engaging productions. Accidental Productions will provide performance opportunities for emerging artists who have recently graduated from various training institutions. Through a collaboration of established and energetic young actors Accidental Productions endeavours to be part of the ongoing tradition of good theatre making in Australia in general and Adelaide in particular. Accidental Productions’ artistic philosophy is to stage innovative works from Australia and around the world; works that express the unique developments in the world today, whether they stem from Europe, Asia, Africa, or the Americas. Of course Accidental Productions is a shoestring company. The capital we have is our enthusiasm and our willingness to put critical investigations of the world on stage.
