Developed by Penny Lindley and Sarah Goodchild, and following in the footsteps of the highly successful Red Stitch Theatre Company in Melbourne, Alchemy Theatre Company is Sydney's newest independent ensemble. Based at it's very own venue, the Lock Up Theatre in the heart of Sydney's Surry Hills, Alchemy will present a season of plays every year. The ensemble consists of 9 actors and 2 technicians- some new and some very familiar faces to the Sydney theatre scene. We look forward to welcoming you to our brand new home for our 2006 season! hey i was wondering if you could inform about your design part of the company... i am have just started my drama HSC corse this term at school and i am striving to do poster and promotion and need to gather information from several theater companies

Harriet Morley, Josh the Pirate Walker, Leah Bennet

New short movement based works from three of Shakespeares' well known plays. Much Ado about Nothing, Romeo and Juliet, and "The Scottish Play".
These innovative young directors have devised short pieces using movement and dance and comedy to provide a great night's entertainment.
A Stirling Players Youth (SPY) project, featuring young people aged from 12-24.
Cost is $5.00 a person. Two nights only!
