Welcome to 2009: Another fantastic year of Theatre at Beaumaris!
Season One: "Little Women". Adapted by Emma Greeves from the novel by Louisa May Alcott, Director Brian Uniacke. Fri 20th Feb 8pm, Sat 21st Feb 5pm,Fri 27th Feb 8pm, Sat 28th Feb 5pm, Sun 1st March 2pm, Thur 5th March 8pm, Fri 6th March 8pm, Sat 7th March 8pm.
Season Two: The fifth Australian production of "Anonymous Theatre" will be held, for one night only, on Saturday May 2nd 2009 at 8pm. The show chosen this year is "Dimboola" by Jack Hibbert, and directed Cheryl Threadgold. There will then be a week to rehearse as a full cast, before performances on May 8, 9 and 15 at Beaumaris Theatre, all at 8pm.
Season Three: "Parramatta Girls" by Alana Valentine and directed by Robyn Morris. Friday June 19, Saturday June 20, Friday June 26, Saturday June 27, Thursday July 2, Friday July 3, Saturday July 4 @ 8pm.
Season Four: JM Barrie;s "Peter Pan”. Director Debbie Keyt. Our children's show for the year and suitable for all the family. 8pm sessions— Fri Aug 28, Thur Sept 3, Fri Sept 4, Fri Sept 11, Sat Sept 12. 5pm sessions—Sat Aug 29, Sat Sept 5. 2pm sessions—Sun Aug 30, Sun Sept 6, Sat Sept 12.
Season Five: "Fawlty Towers" by John Cleese and Connie Booth, directed by Georgy Charles. Cabaret-style seating, so BYO drinks and nibbles. Frid Nov 20, Sat Nov 21, Frid Nov 27, Sat Nov 28, Thurs Dec 3, Frid Dec 4, Sat Dec 5 @ 8pm, Sun Nov 29 @ 5pm.
