The Don Russell Performing Arts Centre opened its doors in 1994 to promote cultural appreciation and practice in the City of Gosnells.

The centre features a classic proscenium arch style theatre with all the comforts expected in any professional theatrical space.

The theatre boasts excellent acoustics and clear sightlines from every seat in the house.

The auditorium is fitted with cushioned racked seating for up to 220 and features a professional theatre sound and lighting system.

The theatre is available for hire and ideal for theatre performances, performing arts classes, public forums, school performances, end of year presentations, cultural celebrations, workshops, musical events, film nights and fundraising events.

Set just before the turn of the century amidst a rapidly changing late Victorian society, two brothers: Victor and William Godfrey, once rescued from a life of orphanages and cold streets, safeguard the house of their late benefactor Arthur Worthing. But death has rearranged the boundaries the late Mr. Worthing erected in life, and soon... the halls of Worthing manor are full of the most unexpected guests, many of whom remember the old man by very different terms. Life has grown convoluted for the brothers Godfrey, but all will be well if Victor can win the hand of the fair Parthena and William can hide his greatest secret as it dangles right under everyone's noses. Times are changing, but will they change for the better?
