Fremantle's original and only Community Theatre since 1963.
First situated in the Evan Davies Library building on South Terrace (above what is now Dome and where Kulcha perform today), we then performed in the Princess May Building for 14 years before once again been forced to move out. Harbour Theatre's temporary home is currently the Port Cineaste Cinema in Adelaide St Fremantle (next to Princess May Park, opposite Woolworths) while negotiations continue to find us a permanent home, hopefully by 2011...
We usually perform 5 seasons a year, with at least 4 full plays and occasionally a season of 1-act plays.
Come and be a part of the rich artistic flavour that is Fremantle. We are always looking for new members to act, direct, FOH, set building and design, lighting and sound.
There's more to theatre than just acting!
