Cowboy Mouth by Sam Shepard -Hyde Park Hote Front Bar, January 2006
Hook in Eye’s first production was Sam Shepard’s Cowboy Mouth at the Hyde Park Hotel Front Bar in January 2006. Performed in a public bar with an original soundtrack by local band Radarmaker, Cowboy Mouth is a play about the meaning and purpose that rock’n’roll can bring to people’s lives.
Alaska by D.C. Moore - The Blue Room Theatre, June 2009
Alaska at The Blue Room Theatre in June 2009 was Hook in Eye's second production. This production by UK writer D.C. Moore is an edgy work set in a cinema multiplex that explores the manipulation of power, using race and racism as its battleground.
Gasp by Suzanne Rofe - The Blue Room Theatre, August 2010
The world premiere of Gasp, by WA writer Suzanne Rofe, at The Blue Room Theatre in August 2010 was Hook in Eye’s third production. Gasp explores the theme of coping with anxiety disorder in today’s society, and examines contemporary and historical treatments of anxiety.
